ELS Series Electric Winch | Technical Specifications | Capital Winch

The ELS series winches are used for lifting applications where the winch is installed on an H-beam under trolleys to allow movement on a gantry, monorail, overhead crane or jib crane.

  • Designed according to ASME HST-4, Performance Standard for Overhead Electric Wire Rope Hoists.
  • A continuous duty AC electric motor. Different voltages available (575V, 460V, 400V, 230V and others).
  • A helical gear reducer with a minimum service factor of 1.0
  • Electromagnetic brake applied by spring and released when the motor is activated.
  • Sealed bearing.
  • Steel structure, welded according to CWB W47.1.
  • Powder-coated finish, blue color.
  • The cable is sold separately.

Options:

  • Winter kit 1 (synthetic oil, engine heater, electric panel heater, brake corrosion protection).
  • Tension roller to hold the cable in place when there is no tension.
  • Grooved drum

  • NEMA 4 grey painted steel case.
  • CSA approved.
  • Disconnector.
  • Remote control with up, down and emergency stop buttons, with 10 feet of wire.
