ELS Technical Specifications

  • ELS Series winches are used for lifting applications where the winch is installed on an H-beam under trolleys to allow movement on a gantry, monorail, overhead crane or jib crane.
  • Designed according to ASME HST-4, Performance Standard for Overhead Electric Wire Rope Hoists.
  • A continuous duty AC electric motor. Different voltages available (575V, 460V, 400V, 230V and others)
  • A helical gear reducer with a service factor of 1.0 minimum
  • Spring applied electromagnetic brake released when motor is activated.
  • Sealed bearing.
  • Steel structure, welding according to CWB W47.1.
  • Powder paint finish, blue color.
  • The cable is sold separately.

Options:

  • Winter kit 1 (synthetic oil, engine heater, electrical panel heater, brake corrosion protection).
  • Tension roller to hold the cable in place when there is no tension.
  • Grooved drum
  • Motorized trolley.

  • NEMA 4 gray painted steel enclosure.
  • CSA approved.
  • Disconnector.
  • Remote control with up, down and emergency stop button, with 10 feet of wire.
  • Bracket for fixing directly to the winch.
