EYY Technical Specifications

  • The EYY series winches are equipped with a Yoyo type drum. That is to say that the cable winds on itself. The advantage of this design is that as the cable winds, there is no transverse deflection on the drum. This eliminates the fleet angle distance of a conventional drum winch, so we can have a deflection pulley very close to the drum.
  • The EYY series winch is designed according to ASME B30.7-2021, Winches: Safety Standard for Cableways, Cranes, Derricks, Hoist, Hooks, Jacks, and Slings .
  • For use with a cable with a safety factor of 5:1.
  • A minimum drum/cable ratio of 15:1.
  • A three-phase AC electric motor with continuous duty. Different voltages available (575V, 460V, 400V, 230V and others)
  • A bevel gear reducer with a service factor of 1.0 minimum
  • Spring applied electromagnetic brake released when motor is activated.
  • Sealed bearing.
  • Steel structure, welding according to CWB W47.1.
  • Powder paint finish, blue color.
  • The cable is sold separately.

  • Winter kit 1 (synthetic oil, engine heater, electrical panel heater, brake corrosion protection).
  • Tension roller to hold the cable in place when there is no tension.
  • Stainless steel structure.

  • NEMA 4 gray painted steel enclosure.
